Underwater Robotics at Arizona State

We previously have built a small remote operated vehicle to explore the air vents of one of the buildings on ASU’s campus, looking for possible obstructions that my cause health concerns to workers in the building. We had to operate in a small, low light environment, so special considerations had to be made in the building of the ROV, including using an off-the-shelf micro controller kit specialized for quick prototyping work. We deployed the robot to the building, but did not discover any of the obstructions that we were expecting.
